Goodness Recipes for HCG Diet – Phase 2 Recipes:

HCG Diet Phase 2 marks the end of your ballooning with the unwanted fat and puts you on a serious, weight-shedding program. You are allowed to eat 100 grams of proteins every day. In order to get the accurate weight, ensure that food is raw and not frozen. Proteins include the chicken, lobster, fish, lean beef, shrimp, crab or veal. When it is lean beef, it must be 97% lean and 7% fats. The lesser the fat the better the results will be. When you choose fish then make sure that you are aware of the percentage of fats in it. There are some types of fish that are high in fats. Also one vegetable is allowed with lunch. Some examples include lettuce, cucumbers, asparagus, tomatoes (1 whole), spinach and cabbages. Every lunch also includes one type of Melba toast or bread stick and if you are looking for recipes, you can refer to phase 1 diet. Both can be easily accessed. But never forget to see if they have added cheese or any other kind of seasonings. Fruits that can be eaten are half grape fruit, a handful of strawberries and a whole apple.


Dinner constitutes the same calories like lunch i.e. 100 grams of proteins, 1 fruit, 1 vegetable and a handful of strawberries.

Do not include oil for the cooking purposes.

Vegetables: Most of the vegetables are low in calories. You can mix a number of veggies to make the salad better in taste.


Restrictions are always there when it is about dressing. No high fat oil or sugar dressing must be used. Rather red vinegar, apple cider vinegar as well as white vinegar can always be added in the salad.


Seasonings like peppers, salts and spices are not harmful as long as there is no sugar there in the ingredients.


Sauces that contain sodium are safer to be used. These useful sauces include the hot sauce, mustard and teriyaki etc.

Moisturizers and cosmetics:

During second phase of HCG one is restricted to use moisturizers and cosmetics. Also stay away from the massage parlor.

Sunomono (Japanese Cucumber Salad):



  • Sliced cucumber, 300g
  • 1 t. salt
  • 1/3 c. rice vinegar (without sugar)
  • 1/8 t. stevia
  • 2 t. Bragg’s Liquid Aminos
  • ¼ t. grated fresh ginger root


Cut the cucumbers in to thin slices. Place them in a bowl and sprinkle salt over it. Leave it at room temperature for minimum half an hour or until the cucumbers get softened. Afterwards drain and rinse it thoroughly to get rid of the extra salt. Add sugar, ginger, vinegar and braggs in the serving bowl. Then add cucumbers in it and combine them all well. Before serving chill it.

French Onion Soup:


  • Thinly sliced 1 onion
  • Beef broth, 2 cups
  • Garlic cloves 3-4
  • ½ tsp granulated sugar substitute
  • ¼ tsp black pepper


Cook onions and garlic in a pan for 5 to 10 minutes and stir it in sugar substitute. Then again cook it for 10 to 15 minutes till the onions get caramelized. Add broth and bring it to boil. Afterwards cook it for 20 minutes. Add pepper and salt to taste.

Balsamic Mustard Crusted Steak:



  • London broil or beef fillet, 100g
  • Mustard powder, 1 tsp
  • Balsamic vinegar 2 tsp
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 minced garlic cloves


Mix all the seasoning in a mixing bowl. Take a broiler pan and line it with foil. Place steak on the top.  Coat it evenly with the mustard mixture and leave it for ten minutes. Afterwards broil the steak to desired doneness. Usually it is done like 3 to 4 minutes per side. Leave it for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
